SEASHORE

You are the sea, and he is the shore,
Your heartbeats, in waves, came to rest at his door,
Time upon time, caressing his head,
Enfolding and soothing his shoulders of sand.
You break him and mend him, with your soft fluid motion,
Where the edge of his earth meets your billowing ocean.
May eternities pass 'neath the glow of the ocean,
As your light constant murmur sings to him a love tune.
Let the wind bring you to him, and your touch leave him never,
They are the sea and the shore, together, forever.
