SOFT ADVENTURE



He visits soft clouds where they are found
Though on this earth his body bound
He dances on moonbeams and swings on stars
Too often reacquainted with his nemesis MARS!
With the planets he appears to dwell
Dusty stories with time to tell

Leaving rhyme for a precarious thread of prose
This now is, how the story goes

He rides the rainbows and glides in awe
Of the sights presented
The scents and sounds
Senses filled by you
An empty vessel he no longer remains
Still seeking nothing
They wander and are found
In duplicity they become one
Singularly, sneaking an escape
Each knowing "HOPE" is a shadow dweller
Still, greeting Hope with the courage of lovers
Unheeded...perhaps untended...they venture
