Their love subject to decay
In fear of this she obeys

Living and accepting without dispute
Her feelings absolute

Her thoughts now searching for peace
Confusion begins to increase

Looking straight at her
He, who intentionally hurts her

In the eyes of they
They, who attempt to show her the "proper," logical way
Though she knows the result, she remains

Waiting...Waiting for things to go back to normal, or at least to go
Back to the way they were
When will this happen, she wonders

You remind her of someone, someone she wanted to escape
From forever
That someone is her father

He is the only other person who has hurt her like you do
