THE RED STAIN

He screamed, but never moved his lips,
He saw and felt the torture, but never cried;
For his soul and his needs,
He knew he tried.

The stain was there, was still there;
Tears have passed, and the stain was still there.

He remembers so clearly,
Their helpless eyes, arms and legs stopped fighting,
Giving in fiercely.

He could feel his head throbbing,
For he was screaming, but never made a sound.

Yes, the stain is still there,
And will never go away.

Guilt is coercing every tissue in his body;
His veins decay...
He screams, but doesn't make a sound.
The Red Stain will never go away.
