THE RESTLESS NIGHT



At the ending of a restless night,
In the advent of the dawn;
As the rose and purple faded soft
And golden fingers reached out long,
She swam upward hard from anxious sleep
To find what troubles the day would keep,
And heard a voice pierce through her fog,
"Be still and know that I am Love."
