TOUCHED II

Alone she finds you sitting there

Lost in your distant wheelchair
Tucked in a corner out of the way
Wondering where your thoughts
Have taken you this day
Blank stare and hair of thinning gray

Clutching your icy hand
So frail and weak
Reaching out to you with words she speaks
Smiling with a grin glancing at her
But only for a peek

Like still waters of the sea
Thoughts run deep within thee
Not a single word you say
Slowly turning your head astray
Off you go again can't make you stay

Touched she leaves you as she walks away
