WHY DO THE BIRDS SING

Why do the birds sing,
Those beautiful happy songs

Is it to proclaim that,
Today is a joyous day

Or maybe to announce,
And carefully pronounce,
The new gossip for the morn

Whatever it may be,
The reason these birds are so happily
Singing and chirping about,
It fills her heart with joy.
