The Time of Change |
(May 9, 2002) |
The crucial moment is
desperately slow,
The fateful instant is infinitely stretched,
In fragmented repeats.
Hunting for defining
moments is pointless
When one is awed by instances of the past.
The re-enactment of epiphany is flawed,
Difference is more often undergone than sought
after.
Inexhaustible horn of
plenty,
Fits of commitment in a teacup -
On its watery surface, reflected,
The pretence of becoming.
