Ankh Physical Immortality Ankh
This is one of my pages from my AOL site. I thought I'd include it here

Death is an unnatural (yet far too regular) occurrence in human existence. Infinite Light, Pure Being crystallizes into physical form through the power of thought. The Great Universal Mind had an idea, an idea of a distinct individual, YOU! The Great Mind loved this idea of you so much it became you. At the moment you separated from the Infinite you sensed your loss of omnipotence and conceived powerlessness and began to imagine the horrors that might await a powerless being. These fears were realized at your birth. Born with sensitive eyes into an operating room where everyone assumes you are born blind, they blind you with glaring lights so the doctor can see. You are used to a warm, 98.6 degree, wet environment you are then thrown into a chilly 76 degree sharply dry environment. Your skin is as sensitive as the skin of a burn victim and is rubbed mercilessly with terry cloth that felt like steel wool against raw nerves. Your lungs were too tender to steadily breathe. Nature caused you to be born with the umbilical cord attached providing you with oxygen that allowed you time to gradually adjust to breathing air. Yet, the wisdom of modern medicine says the umbilical cord is a useless appendage after you are outside the wound, so it is sliced off!

While dealing with the pain of being cut, you also have to deal with the excruciating pain of air burning your lungs. Every breath hurts and you want only to push it out and not inhale ever again. As you hold the air out, you start to lose consciousness and are forced to take another breath. This is your very first experience with life, with the universe, with your body. You know no other experience but hellish pain and you realize that you didn't hurt before you had a body. You decide that the only way to make the pain stop is to destroy your body. In that moment you use the power of thought to call into existence your own, personal death urge. It is your servant commanded by you to destroy your body. As you adjust to your world you realize life has its good side and you forget your servant that exists to kill you as you commanded it to do. Because the love You had for you when you were the Infinite Mind is so strong, your servant can't kill you right away. It waits and creates unhappiness, hardship and decay until you are ready to accept its power over you. Your personal death urge seeks to fulfill itself and to do so it must erode your will to live. Nothing kills you except your servant, your death urge and the belief that death is inevitable. Whether by accident, illness, violence or old age, the thoughts buried in your subconscious along with the death urge, these are the only things that can destroy your body.

The first step toward spiritual growth is to dismiss your servant, your personal assassin. Because unless you do you may not have time left to fully grow in other ways. If you believe death is inevitable it is. If you believe (really believe as you believe the floor below your feet is solid) that life, physical life was meant to be permanent, so it is. Contact your death urge, do a ritual and tell it that it is no longer needed. Command it to dissolve into the homogeneous mindstuff from which it was formed and thank it for its service letting it know that service is no longer needed. This may require several attempts depending on many factors. These factors include:
(1) The strength you have given your beliefs in death and it's inevitability;
(2) Your own negative outlook;
(3) Your fear at going into the moment you created the death urge to contact it;
(4) Your personal loyalty to death.

Other factors may also require attention. Be very careful working with this procedure and do so at your own risk. I assume no responsibility concerning how you approach or use the knowledge I have just imparted.

Other techniques for dissolving the death urge include affirmations, visualization, rebirthing and proper stimulation of the Kundalini in the first chakra.
