My dad took one of those horizontal metal folder sorters, turned it vertical.  Then he made a piece of wood to slip in the side (now the bottom), with a small support on the bottom (now the side)  then measured and cut slots in a dowel to support the floppy metal shelves.  Now I can put 16 bead boxes (aka fishing tackle boxes) in here.
