Reverse applique, machine quilted with metallic thread.
Found the pattern for this on a web site with ancient South American and Mexican petroglyphs. Was searching for a Kokopelli pattern to use and found this too. Made a bunch of Kokopelli quilts for a friend's shop then made this one for myself as a reward for finishing the others. It hangs in our home on a copper wire hangar that is spiraled at both ends.
