God -- The Creation

By The Pathwork Guide

Greetings in the name of the Lord. Blessed are all of you; blessed is this lecture. My dear friends, most of you believe that when I hold a lecture I freely and arbitrarily choose the subject myself on my own authority. This is not quite so. I think that it will be interesting for you to hear briefly how a subject is chosen and what is done in the world of spirit about your little community. In the first place, you must understand that as a counterpart for your community on earth, which is growing larger little by little, there exists a considerably greater community in the spirit world which governs everything pertaining to your community. This organization in the spirit world is helping, guiding, and deciding many factors about which you know nothing, though it nevertheless still is in connection with all of you and on a much wider scope than any of you can realize. There is not the slightest coincidence, not even as far as the people who come here once and who do not stay because they lack either the spiritual maturity to understand what is going on or because they do not want to develop spiritually and walk this Path of perfection for which a continuous supply of spiritual food is necessary.

At the beginning more people who fall into this category come here; but, as I said, this is not mere coincidence. There is a purpose and a reason for this. Very briefly, I will explain these reasons now. Until the friends belonging to the inner circle who actively help to build this community have proven themselves sufficiently in many of their weaknesses, the presence of people who cannot as yet fully appreciate this communication with God's world is a test for them. Every test and every trial results, either directly or indirectly, from one's own imperfection, and its purpose inevitably also must be to learn from it and thus strengthen the individual weakness. You who belong to the inner circle have a great responsibility and therefore you must become strong. This can only be accomplished through all sorts of happenings, even seemingly unimportant and apparently coincidental ones. He who really walks the Path actively and with open eyes will observe and test everything that happens to him in the course of the day so that he may further increase his knowledge about himself. To the extent that you grow spiritually, that you become stronger emotionally, and that you become more perfect, to that extent not only will your personal conflicts diminish but also the character and spiritual development of most people joining your group will change. So, you see that it is not mere chance that at the beginning the majority of people coming to you are not of the caliber you may desire. You have probably noticed that this has begun to change already, and it will change even more as time goes on. At the same time, people who fall under the above category and approacj you at the beginning of such a community are not guided here at random either. They have certain merits from previous lives -- or the same life, for that matter -- through which they deserve a special help and guidance to enable them to progress spiritually farther and faster, However, it must be left always according to law and to their own free will as to whether or not to accept that help. In spite of these merits, they often lack the otherwise necessary spiritual maturity to accept this help. Nevertheless, the chance should be offered them. If they grasp it, it means a great victory for them and also for the world of God. If they reject it, their rejection serves the good purpose of necessary testing and elarning for those people having strong arms and shoulders, spiritually speaking, in order that they may be worthy of the great fulfillment awaiting them.

So there is no coincidence. Not a single one of you has come here just by coincience, even though you yourself may think so. By chance, you heard of this and have come here possibly because of the experience or even out of curiosity. Yet, there is a great deal more to it than that. Others, who have come for the same reasons as you, may have never heard of it to begin with and may never have an opportunity. All this is determined by the Organization in the spirit world that governs you, and who should be chosen and who should be bypassed, at least at this time. Particular spirits, whose task it is and who are trained for this work, are being sent out to scout to consdier all pertaining factors of the individuals in question. If it shows in a case that a person should join you or at least should be given the chance, then these spirits get in touch with the respective guardian spirits who guide their proteges to someone else in your circle and who inspire that person to perhaps propose the idea of joining your group. This will give you a vague idea about how much work and care is involved concerning even the smallest detail.

Also, the choice of lecture necessitates a considerable amount of work in the spirit world, for the appropriate subject at the appropriate time is not always easy to determine, and personally I could not possibly do this alone. You haven't the vaguest idea what a world or order and organization God's wpirit world is! The efficiency of the spirits, who are trained expertely for their particvular tasks and the teamwork involved, is something that surpasses your human comprehension. For instance, there are a number of more exalted spirits above me in the scale, in the hierarchy, whom I have to consult for the selection of a subject and for the advice given to certain individuals, as well as for various other decisions. On the other hand, these spirits also take my own opinions, my own experiences, and my own advice into consideration. I have a number of helpers whom I send out or who help me with other tasks in connection with the building of your community. From all these report coming in from spirits involved with this work or with this Commission, let us say, each subject is decided on, as well as how far I may go in answering certain questions that may come up unexpectedly. These decisions are made on the basis of a great number of factors wherein all the pertaining laws are to be considered. It is a type of "bookkeeping work," if I may call it that, in lieu of a better expression, where painstakingly many details have to be considered and weighed. You have no idea of how much work is involved in our world regarding this community of yours; how much there is to consider as far as the future if concerned. How dificult it is to determine that certain information may be harmful for some of the readers, while the same information may be useful for others. This depends on the degree of progress and the length of time in which they progressed. In other words, it is difficult to find ways and means to further the progress of each individual belonging to your group by giving just the right amount of spiritual food at the right time; and at the same time to plan wisely ahead for the group's future as whole. You in your world are so blind that you only recognize what is right in front of your eyes. You do not realize that often a truth heard too soon can be more harmful than if it were heard too late. Yes, my friends, this is true! On the other hand, for some people it may be of imperative importance for them to hear a particular truth, or spiritual law, at a particular time. In such cases, this information to be given has to be worded in such a way that it will not be understood by those who are not ready and mature yet. This may give you a vague idea of your counterpart organization in the spirit world. This organization is deeply involved with many details that you completely ignore, working with love, with care, and wisdom to guide everything to the best advantage of all concerned, and also for those whom you do not know as yet, but who will join you in the future. To compute all this data demands trained experts, working with unceasing efforts, with foresight, and with the thorough knowledge of divine law in all its workings, as well as with great devotion to God and to His great plan of salvation. The growth of your community, in its proper way, is of imperative importanc in the plan, and of deeper significance than most of you sense. Through these explanations, you may understand a little better what first had appeared to you like a chain reaction of coincidences, but which is nothing else but a great guidance put into action. Thus you may also grasp the fact that the inner pictur of each person coming here has been taken into account even to the smallest details, so that not only the subjects of the general lectures are determined by all of these put together, but also "the how" of certain explanations and how a certain subject is treated. You will understand that I do not comere here and freely choose a subject. Whenever man has succeeded in contacting God's world it never happens this way because too much has to be considered and too much is at stake of which you know nothing.
