This is a picture of me, 'Bruno' Tim Meighan. We had just finished our first recording session, so we went to our friends farm and jammed for another four hours. What fun! By the look on my face, you can tell that I was happy with the days events. Either that, or I had just blundered really badly, and was smiling to hide my embarassment. You decide. |

Sunday at the shire of Chipping-Under-Oakwood. The puritan arrives and begins his three hour sermon on the evils of dance and music. The Bruno's don't seem to like this much. In the end we chopped off his head, but it didn't help. We had to have a beer to wash the stench of his puritannical ways out of our noses. This is a common remedy to just about anything for Bruno. Got the flu? Have a beer. Legs hurt? Have a beer. Got a hangover? Have a beer. Feeling a little too tipsy? Have a beer. Does this work? No, not really. But then, after a while you don't care whether it works or not. |

My friend Marcia Barringer made the modifications to this photo, as well as the one on the previous page. I like it a lot, although I don't really know if there is some sort of twisted logic to the imagery she concocted. Pigs and monkeys? Maybe a statement about the band... I dunno. I think the faces might represent the unquiet dead gathering around because we're keeping them awake with our cacophanous caterwauling. Again, I dunno. I just like the photo, and there you have it, whatever 'it' is. |
