Mootjes

A row of metal rods, with what seems to be thick flat chunks of green glass on top. they are arranged in one line but at different heights creating a wavy pattern. Moving around the sculpture the pieces of translucent material line up and overlap. When the rods are aligned the translucent pieces fall into place and form a fish.

Part of the 'Vedute' collection library consisting of +/- 120 3-dimensional manuscripts made by architects and designers from other art disciplines.

Every Human, animal and object -man made or natural- uses space, because of this our surrounding exists out of space and obstruction. The obstructions determine how people move through the space. In the ideal situation the environment would be constant manipulative so that during movement you can change the situation into an obstruction or space.

Masjientje

The lamp has three different settings;

off, on and on with movement & sound.

Foyer

Proposal for a new media artwork in the foyer of an office building in the city centre.

Metal strips hanging from the ceiling, projecting light -in motion-on the still wall. The blue color reflects and plays. A series of continuous waves are visible for the curious visitor.
