Bottom Left: A typical way of
getting around in the islands...this picture was taken in American Samoa on the island of
Tutuila where most of the population live.
Above Left: A family building a
traditional type of Fale (House) on a piece of land amongst a coconut plantation near the
airport in Western Samoa. A little bit of controversy envolved - they were
squatting.
They were more than likely from another Island
in Western Samoa and were migrating to the island of Upolu.
