How can I express sorrow without showing my pain?
If I could only show tears, it would be a great gain.
Every day when I seem to get ahead,
There is something new to make me feel dead.
I long to reach out and touch.
But I'm afraid I will love you too much.
If only a tear of joy or sorrow could appear,
All my fears and pain would disappear.
I always try so hard but nothing is ever right.
When I dream of sunshine, I awake into the night.
Will there ever come that special day?
Will something good ever find my way?
I must always look forward and never look back.
For everything behind me is clouded in black.
Oh Special day, when will you come?
Please remove this darkness and reveal the sun.
