Edmund Goodenow and Olive Glazier

Edmund Goodenow was born July 2, 1731 in Sudbury, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, the first of four children of Samuel Goodenow and Mary Griffin. He made his living as a farmer.

About 1751, Edmund married a woman named Grace. They had seven children:

Edmund's wife Grace died about 1763.

Olive Glazier was born March 16, 1743/44 in Hardwick, Worcester County, Massachusetts to Isaiah Glazier and Hannay Mary Thomas. She reportedly had older and younger brothers also born in Hardwick.

Edmund Goodenow and Olive Glazier were married May 13, 1765 in Brookfield, Worcester County, Massachusetts. They had six children, all born in Westmoreland, New Hampshire:

  • Isaiah Goodenow, born in 1766
  • Thankful Goodenow
  • Tamar Goodenow
  • Barnabas Goodenow
  • Mindwell Goodenow, born in 1774
  • Stephen Goodenow, born in 1780

No details are known about the deaths of Edmund Goodenow and Olive Glazier.
