Kayaking in Pelorous Sounds

In January we planned a kayaking trip to Pelorous Sounds on the South Island. It is a beautiful place as you can see.

To get there, we enjoyed a pleasant sailing of the interisland ferry to Picton.

We joined a lovely couple in Havelock.

And they took us cruising on the launch called Foxy Lady.

Apart from kayaking we stayed and dined in luxury. Luke the dog took a special liking to anyone who would give him a scratch.

We did a little walking each evening using the dingy on the launch.
