Sidelines offers education, referrals, support, and advocacy services to these high risk "moms". There are over 5,000 trained volunteers with chapters across the United States and even a chapter in Canada. Sidelines matches each mom with a trained Sidelines volunteer whom has previously been through a similar pregnancy experience. That volunteer would support her referral throughout the remainder of her pregnancy by writing email messages to her or calling her on the phone. All referrals are kept confidential.
Please note: Sidelines does not give medical advice. If you want more specific information on your treatment plan, have questions about the medications you are taking, or think you might be in preterm labor, please call your medical professional, case manager, or local hospital.
