Turning Over a New Leaf

This page will be devoted to a series of literary excursions.  Writers will be studied on the basis of
such factors as country of origin, language, historical period, genre, contributions to world letters and relevance today.  Writers of fiction, non-fiction and poetry will be examined, and the most important characteristic each must possess is the ability to produce works that entertain, inform, uplift and/or inspire.
