Roger Kammerer was born in 1956 in Nebraska, but spent most of his early life in Swansboro, N.C. He showed artistic aptitude at an early age and later received a scholarship to attend the School of Art at East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C. There he acquired the loose, painterly style for which he is known.

Roger has gained acclaim for his watercolours, pen & inks, and paintings in both oil and acrylic. The works shown here attest to Roger's technical skill, versatility, and dexterity in these four different media. Additionally, he is also known for his oil portraits, historical paintings, and numerous mural projects.

His work has been exhibited, featured in various publications, and acquired for private and public collections throughout the South. For more than 20 years, Roger has worked almost solely on commission, preferring to work to the collector's specifications. As such, he often collaborates with interior decorators and has gained considerable experience in the art of interior design. If you are interested in commissioning Roger, you may phone him at (252) 758-6882, or contact him by E-mail.
