Wrought of paper folded into shape,
A craft of the soaring heart's devising,
Made as much from desire as from pulp,
Imagination so very cleaver so enterprising;
Imagination lifts the soul to inspiring heights,
Well beyond those reached by mere physicality,
The wisdom of a heart brings a dream to life,
How strange it seems more real than reality.
Man breaths himself into all he creates,
Be it note to milkman or epic tome,
As though an ode to an airplane,
Could be an immortal poem.
