DENISE ON TELEVISION
On sunday, September 26, Denise Duhamel will be featured (along with 20 other poets)on PBS's "Fooling With Words (with Bill Moyers)" The two hour show will be aired at 9pm eastern. Please watch if you can! She may just be on for a few minutes so get your snacks ready ahead of time and try not to blink, okay? Denise Duhamel is the recipient of a 1989 New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship and a 1993 winner of Poets & Writers' "Writers Exchange" award. She has taught poetry at New York City's West Side Y. Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, The American University in Washington DC, and Lycoming College in WIlliamsport, PA. Denise has recently won first place in the CRAB ORCHARD AWARD SERIES in poetry, sponsored by the Crab Orchard Review. As a result of this, Southern Illinois University Press will published her "The Star-Spangled Banner" It is now available! She is married to poet Nick Carbo.
