Batik!!
Batik. It took the author of this chapter a week to remember that dumb word, so you'd better savor it, gentle readers.
Batik is a method of dying fabrics into vivid colors and astonishing patterns which utilizes hot wax. Sounds downright kinky, don't it?
It's an artsy-craftsy, earthy crunchy type pastime, which takes its place along such noble pursuits as macramé, latch-hook, and found-object sculpture.
