Kay's Trip to NYC, part 2
It all started as the authors were having a charming dinner in The Angie Dickinson Room at Mary's Restaurant in Greenwich Village (if you've never been, just let your imagination dash away).
During dinner, as Kay's swain, Eamon (vampyr), and Chris sipped Cosmopolitans, Kay began to complain of a pain in her lower back. Eamon and Chris looked at her rather worriedly, and kept on drinking. Also in attendance that evening was Mr. Michael Shattner, who you all know as his Waylaid alias, David Nimoy.
Now, just pause for a second here. Do we all remember Will's unresolved feelings about David Nimoy? Extend that into real life.

Anyway, the pain in wee Kay's side grew more and more intense. She stood, hoping that it would relieve the pain. It didn't. She walked around the block, hoping that would help. It didn't.
Then, Kay marched herself back to the Angie Dickinson Room and announced, "I have to go to the hospital."
