And continuing our tradition of keeping our readers abreast of musicalizations of literary works related to Waylaid, let it be known that Anthony Newley starred in a really stinky musical film version of The Old Curiosity Shop. Since good ole Anthony played the role of Mr. Quilp, he decided to re-name the musical version . . . tada! . . . "Mr. Quilp." He has much to be ashamed of--least of all, the title.
