Regarding Chloe Horton, the authors really do know someone who was, at one time, a highly-placed administrator at the Chorus. We really get around.

Sadly, the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus has never given US enough money to buy a new car. Pity.

Anyway, the SFGMC was founded in 1978, during a memorial service for Harvey Milk, an openly gay San Francisco city official who was assassinated. Going strong ever since, they are quite the talented group of guys.

Visit their official site, and you can even purchase their CDs, including their FABULOUS Christmas CD, "Our Gay Apparel," which contains a track with 200 queens singing "Over the River and Through the Woods." What more could one want in holiday listening enjoyment?
