Waylaid on the Road to Riches

starElaine's Recipe.!! star

That Faye sure is a smart cookie. Since the "bogus clue" (most recently referred to as "Eileen's recipe") Al and Mary Lou Heiligman read at their press conference may never be mentioned again (don't ask us, we don't know. . . we're just the authors), it is reprinted here in its entirety.

Keeping in mind that the Centralia clue was in blank verse, and the Chicago clue was a haiku, cagey Faye decided on limerick form:

A young maiden's eyes filled with mist
As she stood in the moonlight and kissed.
Her tears slid down
with a thunderous sound
But her new love was far from amiss.

Now where do you suppose that would lead to? Try to figure it out before reading on. . .it's revealed at the end of this chapter.
