Waylaid on the Road to Riches

Xena?Xena, Warrior Princess! Xena?

Okay, so sue us, we don't have a Xena gif, and what with all the mayhem of the holiday season we just haven't had time to get one. But Merryweather (pictured above) is somewhat reminiscent of Xena, is she not?

For those of you LIVING UNDER A ROCK, Xena is a Warrior Princess* who battles evil-doers in a strangely inconsistent and scattershot world of classical, mythological and quasi-historical anachronism, brought to American t.v. courtesy of our good friends down under. And, oh, did I mention?

SHE ROCKS!!!

Yes, yes she does.

It is the opinion of one of the authors of Waylaid that every day, in every way, we should all strive to be just a little more like . . . Xena.

The web is virtually rife with sites where you can learn more about everyone's favorite kick-ass camp queen:

*In point of fact, Xena is, oddly enough, not a princess at all. She is, however, a warrior, and it can only be assumed that "Warrior Chippy" or "Warrior Lass" just didn't sound impressive enough.
