Hello, My name is Yair Blaushtein. I'm 31 y.o and most of my life I lived in a place called Moshav Bezet, less then 1 mile from the border of Lebanon. After my service in the IDF, I worked as a pc technician but soon enough I felt the artist within me ready to break free. Gourds were growing on my parent's farm since I remember. The idea of combining art with gourds came up a few years ago, and still it remained as a hobby. I went through 3 years of graphic design studies in Haifa and worked as a designer for 7 years. Recently I decided on living in Jerusalem and becoming a full time artist. This city discovered in me the Jewish design and motifs and so a new artistic journey has started for me. I love creating gourd art and I believe love makes perfection. This site brings you right into my Judaica gourd world. Every artwork here is hand made and unique. Enjoy and feel free to email me.
