Welcome to the National Gallery of Quilting hosted by GeoCities.

It's been said that for some people, quilting is a life long passion. A true quilter can never have enough fabric, never have enough unfinished quilts or never have enough time. Just as a painter sees the world through a brush and easel, a quilter views the universe as a collection of geometric shapes and colors rendered in fabric and stitches.

To the left are some quilting raw materials, arranged in stacks and sorted by color family. These future quilts take on a life of their own as they grow and multiply, all the while feeding a continuous flow of quilting projects. The piles never dwindle, the quilt frame is never empty and friends, relatives and acquaintances never go empty (quilt) handed as another project completes. This is the life of the quilter.
