Figures Workshop - The sign of art

My work on comics and drawing of specific creatures and their distant worlds over the years inspired me to transmit the same subject matter into three-dimensional space. That's how my clay figures first appeared.

Strong connection between comics and figures is very obvious at first sight. Recognizable style and work technique which are applied to figures are guarantee for spiritual and visual enrichment of the observer. Observing and revealing hidden messages from the expressions on creature's faces is the greatest value of these pieces. The fact that all pieces are original works of art (because it's the main characteristic of FIGURES WORKSHOP studio since the very beginning of it's foundation) give you complete enjoyment and pleasure of possessing them. Clay figures contain inside armature. They are not painted nor lacquered, they have natural color of the Serbian clay which gives them quality of authentic piece of art.
