My first photograph was taken in 1962 when I was 9 years old, it was a picture of an old canon situated in Penzance,
Cornwall. A Brownie 127 was used , a fixed focus no nonsense camera with a black and white film, point and click (
now where have I heard that before ). Nowadays photography seems much more technical, but in reality it is just as
easy. The hardest part seems to be which camera to purchase ? These days my choice consists of a varied selection of
Minolta cameras and equipment, they have traveled throughout the world, fallen down mountains, drenched, used in
temperatures ranging from 37c to -34c with no problems, I did have the film freeze once though. However, no matter
what equipment is used a degree of skill is still needed. The images on this site have been taken by myself during the
past few years. All images are copyright. Selected images may only be reproduced for a nominal fee, while others may
be reproduced if permission is requested prior to publication.

Natural light is used when ever possible, as I feel this medium produces a far more interesting image.
