Queen Victoria ascended the throne in 1837 till her death in 1901.
As the first female Monarch in over a century,
Victoria became the predominant trend-setting woman of her time.
Pinch Beck an alloy of copper and zinc discovered by Christopher Pinchbeck 1670-1732.
Popular in the early 18thC, as a gold look a like. Waned in the mid 18th C
