A short trip with Greyhawk
Folks, have you ever played pin the tail on the donkey? Or maybe been to a place that you felt that you could get a picture with your eyes closed. Well the Garden of the Gods, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado is one of those places. This is especially true when the colors are changing in Oct.! |
It is located at the foot of pikes peak as shown here with the "Kissing Camels" sandstone rock formation on the right. |
There are many Rock Formations with Rampart Range in the background for wide shots. |
Or maybe you just want to back off and get some the color. |
Of course there is plenty of opportunities for some plain ole simple subjects. |
If the sky cries out to be photographed, just stick some half dead bushes and old rocks in the forground. |
Even if you just want to shoot a big rock, it doesn't hurt to let a little color sneak into the scene. |
Even that simple lone pine can stand some company every once in a while. |
Since this is actually a sunrise shot, not a sunset, this could be a beginning. |
