Image of the month
It is a known fact that everyone will have a
different opinion on which image is the best.
I am not trying to pick the best image, but picking an image that I personally liked.
I am sure that we will all agree on the fact that this is an excellent image!

 I normally don't like cotton candy water, but in this case it grabbed me. Maybe the colors, and the way it was used. Also couldn't make up my mind which format I liked the best, so you choose & email us! |
| 12/27/98..Our readers all seem to have a good eye. The email has run 95% in favor of the vertical image. The water looks more lively and of course the highlights give the image more depth. --Greyhawk |
| This is an image of a waterfall on the Dosewallips river in the Olympic
National Park. Located on the Olympic Peninsula in my own state of Washington.
The Olympic Peninsula and Park are spectacular! The park itself encompasses three ecosystems. Very rugged Glacier capped mountains, some very rugged coastal areas and some simply incredible stands of old growth and temperate rain forest. About 95% of the park is designated wilderness. It is also known for its biological diversity as well. Eight kinds of plants and five kinds of animals are found on the peninsula and live no where else in the world. I am particularly fond of the rain-forest and the myriad of deep lush greens, like none I have ever seen. Without a doubt a very magical place that calls you back again and again! --- Jeri Childs |
