This large sectional wall sculpture was inspired by my interest in archaeology and the amazing discoveries dug out of the ground all over the world.

It was built up of large styrofoam blocks that were carved and laminated with torm shreds of leather.

Closeup shows the molded leather faces (life size) that are embedded into the rock as if they are being discovered and excavated, peeling back the sands of time.
