| At the beginning of June 1997 a group of 8 women and one gentleman gathered at a delightful farmhouse in Elphin, Ontario to learn how to make a leather boat from a willow basket. It took only 2 1/2 days to build a willow basket,cover it in canvas, waterproof it and on Sunday we paddled around & around & around. |
