Paul is rubbing the edges of the panel after the glue has
been applied. Then this edge will be wrapped around to the back
and glued down after some trimming.
To bring out the details under the leather Paul uses a
dental tool to press down around the edges of the pattern. In
his left hand there is a plastic dowel with pointed and round
ends to rub other areas.
Paul is standing by the door panel, the first section is
finished. In the original installation this door actually opened
and was used to enter the boardroom.
The door panel had a handle molded into the door that was
hidden by the detail in the hill area. This area had to be reinforced
for heavy use.
