Freiburg, Germany Assistant Working part-time during the University semester and breaks
assisting a medical Doctor compile, edit, format and publish a series of
books addressing medical topics such as breast cancer and atherosclerosis.

May, 1996 - August, 1996 | Appeals Commission - Workers’ Compensation
Act of Alberta
Edmonton, Canada Research Assistant Main project was the compilation and summarisation of
legal opinions regarding the Appeals Commission. Other projects included:
assisting with a national convention hosted by the Alberta Board, organising
a resource library, organising and implementing software conversion and
staff training including cost analysis, offering ongoing software support
in both Edmonton and Calgary offices, as well as duties in various other
capacities.

September, 1995 - March, 1996 | Canada World Youth Exchange
British Columbia - Indonesia Took part in an International Youth exchange between Indonesia
and Canada. Worked in a diverse group situation planning and implementing
community projects in both Canada and Indonesia as well as researching
and presenting information on local development issues.

May, 1995 – August 1995 | Workers’ Compensation Board Alberta
Edmonton, Canada Research Assistant Carried out two projects: Case Management Case Load Assessment
Project. This project entailed collecting data from eighteen Case Managers
from both the Edmonton and Calgary Offices. The data was compiled and used
to determine the optimal caseload for a Case Manager. The second project,
Entitlement Decision Information Deficiency Audit, entailed collecting
and compiling data from Adjudicators. Other projects and functions were
carried out on a priority basis.

May, 1994 - August, 1994 | Workers’ Compensation Board Alberta
Edmonton, Canada Research Assistant Carried out a project to compile comprehensive summaries
of quadriplegic and paraplegic claimant files for the Special Services
division. Job duties included compiling precise medical summaries, compiling
detailed cost summaries as well as various file specific searches such
as looking into the cost of specific services provided to the claimant.

October 1993 | International Promotions
Edmonton, Canada Instant Credit Co-ordinator Assisted in co-ordinating the instant credit promotions
for the grand opening of the Edmonton, Westmount Zellers. Duties included
corresponding with the credit office in Vancouver and customer service
regarding the instant credit promotion.

July, 1993 – August 1993 | Options for Employment, Good Samaritan
Society
Edmonton, Canada Community Services Worker I. Set up computer system and adaptive devices for the mentally
/ physically handicapped. Compiled a training manual. Trained staff in
the use of these systems and worked one on one with the clients. Following
this, I worked with the clients in the facility and the community. Continued
on as a casual relief worker until March 95.
