The Teaching Vocation
I've been called to be a teacher. I returned to college in mid-life to pursue my teaching vocation. I completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and Theater Arts at Empire State College and a Master of Science in English Education at SUNY Brockport. I hold a permanent teaching certification in English 7-12 from the State of New York.
I teach at Mother of Sorrows Catholic School in Greece, NY, working with 7th and 8th grade students in English Language Arts and Reading. I'm blessed to have wonderful students and a supportive school community and am in my third year of teaching full time. My thanks are due also to my family, which has supported my efforts to pursue this vocation over the past years. It's great to have a profession you LOVE!
I previously worked at Eastman Kodak for eighteen years in various capacities and then at Rochester Colonial Manufacturing for eight years as a Fleet Manager and Safety Director. Contact me if you are in the market for windows, doors, awnings, and/or enclosures. I can still get you a great deal on your next Home Improvement Project.
