Lindsey

I found perfection in a song that lent its voice to me,
and strove to manifest myself as a pearl within that sea.

I came upon each challenge as an epitome of grace,
and let my hope in all its light reflect upon my face.

But mischief and its dignity were hidden there as well.
My fondest memories are the stories I couldn't tell.

I wanted much, expected more and worked hard all the while.
Anger little showed but fierce never had a sweeter smile.

No one asked for more than I still pressure took its toll.
but persevere I would because the song was in My soul.
