Dark Water


please stay here tonight
if only just to sleep
because i need someone to hold
while i drift into the deep
i need to have you in my arms
and feel your warmth against me
then pull you even closer
as i drift into the sea
put your hand upon my chest
as you feel my heart slow down
and i whisper that i love you
while in the dark of sleep i drown
