At 22, Hwee Hwee Tan has garnered an impressive list of writing credits. Her award-winning short stories have been broadcast by the BBC and have been published in PEN International Critical Quarterly and Other Voices. She has won the BBC Radio 4 Final Bite Competition, and has degrees from the University of East Anglia and Oxford University. And now the release of her first novel, FOREIGN BODIES, is heralded in the UK as a startling success of humor, mysticism, feng shui, and dazzling literary style and verve.
Taking a few moments from her busy schedule (among other things she is completing her doctorate at Somervide College, Oxford), Hwee Hwee has agreed to an exclusive interview for THE BOOK NICHE. We look forward to interviewing her and soon reviewing FOREIGN BODIES from this new novelist of impressive quality and style.
