Below outlines the Services and Technologies we provide.
Solar
Solar Energy can be used cost effectively to meet Irish Builders hot water requirements. In Ireland Solar panels can generate annually between 950kWh per square metre and 1,100 KWh per square metre. Atypical setup is around 7.5 square metres which is the equivalent to 750 litres of oil free energy from the sun per annum
Heat Pump Air to Water
In the cold winter months the average air temparture is about 5-8 degrees centigrade , an air to water heat pump system will harness this free and renewable energy source for heating your house. When yo install this system with solar panles this energy efficiency is equal to and sometimes great than a Geo Thermal heat pump.
Heat Pump & Geo – Thermal
Heat is widelyavailble in the ground and this natural source of heat is constantly replenished by solar gain, wind and rain. A heat pump system will harnewss this free and renewable energy source for heating your house and supplying 65 degree hot water for bath, shower or kitchen at a very low cost without using any electrical immersion. At least 70% of yor heat will come from this free source. For every unit of electricity taken in by the heat pump, 3 to 5 units of usful heat is returned. With an overall energy efficiency in excess of 400% - 500% generated from a heat pump comparing to 70% - 85% efficienty for a good oil or gas boiler , a heat pump is an extremely cost effective and environmentally friendly way to heat yourhmoe and supply all your hot water needs.
Under floor heating
The most compelling reason to consider under floor heating is comfort. With under floor heating, tempartuvres are higher at floor level and decrease toward the ceiling, this ensures htat you are heaing your home the right way and you are not wasting energy heating ceiling areas where heat is not required. With under floor heating the heat is all around you and not concentrated in one area o the room which happens with radiators. Because of this different way of heating a room most people find they are comfortable at temparture settings severeal degress lower than conventional fuel systems. This means that under floor heating is energy efficient and cost effective.
