The internet is a means of escape,
Get lost in yourself in cyberspace.
Emotions flowing on pulses of light,
Searching electric love in the night.

Be who you are, or who you want to be,
Reality's a fantasy, and fantasy's a mystery.
Your closest friends, are the farthest away,
Your greatest love, not met to this day.

As you are surrounded by a virtual world,
You laugh as your life, and mind are unfurled.
Slipping away, you're lost once again,
The links you have followed go on with no end.

Constant new faces are created each day,
Yet every new face, is you in some way.
Keeping yourself wrapped and bound,
Until your heart is void of sound.

Lost in the maze of constant talk,
Afraid to be the one to walk.
When this world and that world find time to meet,
You can't really be sure of the people you'll greet.

You may find that a heart is not really true,
Or maybe you'll find the one meant for you.
A constant battle to keep the boundaries apart.
Following the road set out by your heart.

Life is an island, surrounded by death.
Cascaded by moments, with each passing breath.

Happiness derived from living life as it’s handed.

From beginning to end, each living our life.

Contentment is found at the turns in our roads,
Decisions made on which way to go.

Courage is built by fighting death,
Wisdom is knowing when ....
