Party Girl
Yay! Loved this movie! It is so me, though. A quirky girl who lives in Manhattan and throws and goes to party after party gets busted by the cops and ends up in debt to her godmother, who gives her a job at the library. Parker Posie is one of those new, up-and-coming hipster actors, but seeing this movie, I totally think she deserves it. She's stringy, brash, and goofy, and dances a silly dance while asking her crush out on a date. Great music. Great dialogue. All that and a frivolous, wrap-it-up-with-a-bow-tie happy ending. Yum. Rent it when you're in the mood.
