Here are some great pics from my mother's side of the family; it would be neat to add more in the future. I hope you like them.

Mother does a great job of passing on old photos from her family; and I'm definitely happy that she does. Just writing this page brings up vivid photographic memories of favorite pictures from mainly the Scherb side of my family. You know, it just hit me: isn't it interesting how my Grandpa Ahnemann was a great lover of taking pictures--and how my mom really enjoys handing down old pictures of his and others. ...Sort of a "like father, like daughter" scenario.

The first picture is of my mom and uncle Edgar taken circa 1935 at their Grandma Ahnemann's farm. I think it's a great photo!

Here is my Grandma and Grandpa Ahnemann at their house in Kiester, which probably wasn't very old at the time. For as long as I can remember, this picture has been out at Grandma Ahnemann's house. And this one too, I really, really like. How could I not? I'm very happy to have a copy of this picture.
