The Four Major Geographic Parts of my Life.

1. Kiester, Minnesota, my hometown.

2. Augustana College, my alma mater.
   • The Augustana Chemistry Department.

3. Reno, NV
   • University of Nevada, Reno Chemistry Department.

   • My research advisor, the incomparable Larry Scott (a.k.a. Dr. Scott, LTS) has since moved to new digs at Boston College.

   • My church in Reno, the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd was a wonderful source for me. Among other good friends I made there, I still regularly think of Jim Heinemeier and Sandy and DeWitt Brown.

4. Wilmington, Delaware
   • For the past six years I have been an organic chemist for the DuPont Merck Pharmaceutical Company. Dupont Merck is one excellent company to work for.

     I am also pretty darn lucky to have such a good lab to work in.
