Our first day in Antofagasta, April 30, 1999. We were suspicious that Jessica might be pregnant... so we bought a test. The actual result above is technically the very first image of Kilian a mere 30 days after conception, though in very low resolution. |

This is the earliest, two dimensional image of Kilian. This dopler ultrasound image was taken 45 days after he was concieved. His heart is red (dopler measured blood flow) and it is beating at 162bpm. |
